Singer-actor Lady Gaga has confirmed that she shall be starring reverse Joaquin Phoenix in upcoming film Joker: Folie a Deux. The movie is sequel to 2019’s Todd Phillips-directed anti-hero character research Joker.
Gaga introduced her casting within the Warner Bros undertaking through teaser she posted on her Instagram web page. The video clip is about to “Cheek to Cheek”, the music Gaga famously coated with legendary singer Tony Bennett.
Reports of Gaga’s casting as Harley Quinn have been doing the rounds ever since Phillips confirmed in June that he was engaged on the sequel with Phoenix returning within the lead position. Unlike the darkish and gritty Joker, the sequel is being created as a musical.
Phoenix received the perfect actor Oscar for his efficiency as Joker aka Arthur Fleck, probably the most iconic characters from DC comics’ Batman universe.
