South Korean pop group EXO’s member Xiumin is reportedly returning to star in a brand new drama titled Sajangdol Mart (romanized title). In response to experiences of Xiumin’s casting in the drama, SM Entertainment confirmed, “Xiumin will be leading the new drama ‘Sajangdol Mart.’”

According to Korean media portal Soompi, Sajangdol Mart is a drama that depicts the assorted tales that unfold as previous idol group members collect collectively to run a grocery store.

The drama shall be helmed by producing director (PD) Lee Yoo Yeon and the broadcasting schedule has but to be confirmed. Xiumin first made his drama debut in 2015 by starring in Falling for Challenge adopted by the movie Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River.

Recently, Xiumin additionally introduced the upcoming launch of his solo debut album Brand New on September 26. The launch will make him the seventh member of nine-piece pop band EXO to go solo, following the footsteps of bandmates Baekhyun, Chen, Suho, Lay, Kai and D.O in doing so.
